Yes, it should, lifelong commitment of marriage of a couple will uphold the positive image of marriage. Friends related to the couple will be reassured that marriage is not entirely a hinderance for them or their partner.
Yes, it should be as if it does not, the children or child the couple might have will get affected by the separation of the parents when they get a divorce. The child would be asked to choose to stay with a parent, but which? It would be a stressful decision for the child. The child would feel deprived of either a mother’s love or father’s love.
No, it should not as what if either one the partner turns violent? This will definitely provide a good cause for divorce. Also if they had a child, there could be a case of child abuse, the whole family would be affected. Therefore the viability of marriage would be under question.
1) While there are many negative effects of divorce, there are positive effects too. The choice to end a marriage is deeply personal.Whether the decision to divorce is yours, your spouse's or a mutual agreement,both parties would end up experiencing a change.

Especially when life-skills between peers are not as simplistic as we think.

Due to some religion belief, the followers were taught that marriage is lifelong commitment. Therefore contributing to a lesser amount of couples divorcing due to those religion beliefs.

In some rural areas where people still strongly had a strong stand to their religion beliefs, married couples were not allowed to breakup/divorce. This is especially so for the women. Those who failed to abide by the religion rules would be severly critcised by fellow worshippers.

Media promotes lifelong commitment, example dramas on television allow couples to pick up tips on maintaining marriage. - New media provides advices on maintaining lifelong commitment within a marriage, for newly married couples readily. Cons
- Media brings negative reports on marriage, discouraging couples that lifelong commitment is nearly impossible with the recent scandals ( Tiger Woods, Jack Neo ) - Media portrays the guilty partner in the recent scandal in a very bad light to create news.
